Cancelled - General Meeting - October 2021

WAL members and non-members are invited to join us at our general meeting on October 9th from 10:00-12:00. Attendees will get the latest news on upcoming classes and events, meet other artists, get a chance to win a door prize, and enjoy an assemblage/dimensional art demo by Shailja Kumar.

Assemblage is an artistic form or medium usually created on a substrate that consists of 3D elements projecting out. The artist uses found objects, paints and other mediums to create an interesting 3D composition. Assemblage art gives the viewer a new way to look at ordinary items and gives these objects a new meaning.

How to get to the WAL Studio at 701 Sawdust Rd.

You will see a strip center to the right of Hobby Lobby. To the left of the strip center is a blue and silver building. To the left of that building, you will see a silver two-story building. WAL is in the silver building, and our entrance is on the right side of the building.
