A paint-out is when a group of artists meet-up in a location to paint and draw together. When they meet at a scenic, inspiring outdoor location it's called a "plein air paint-out". It's a great way to share your talents, learn from others and enjoy the company!
The TWAL Plein Air Group strives to have two opportunities a month to paint together, and we are adding sunset/nocturne event once a quarter on an evening with a full moon. All locations will have a bathroom nearby, and either a shelter or “rain” option should the weather not cooperate. We will try to alternate between Thursdays and Fridays and have at least one of the monthly offerings in The Woodlands to accommodate as many schedules as possible. We are providing a calendar so that we can minimize the number of texts and phone calls the facilitators have to field for each outing.
During the hotter summer months we shift to a "paint out happy hour" and move the interest group indoors at the TWAL Studio.
We ask for a $50 fee to participate for the entire year.
Happy Painting!
